Endless opportunities – why I love working from home

8 years ago, my eldest daughter was born. All I wanted to do was to stay home with her.

Although I loved every minute of it, 6 years and two more kids later, I felt I was ready to move on with my life.

I have decided to start my own business!

Working from home is perfect for me, and not just because I am a creative person. It has much more than that to offer you, truly the opportunities are endless, and it is everything I ever wanted.

1. I am always there, available for my kids when they need me. When they return home from school, when on holidays or sick. Never have to ask anyone for time off from work.

2. I can set my own hours.

Since I am not a morning person (and that is an understatement), it suits me perfectly to start my day at 9, wearing my Pj’s and holding a ridiculously huge cup of coffee, staring at my computer screen.

3. Saving precious time, every day, not sitting in traffic, so I can spend it with my family.

4. No lipstick and high heels for me thank you very much. I feel so free not to worry about what to wear, or keeping any work place dress codes.

5. I realized that working from home is a lot less stressful, not having bosses to report to, hovering over your head or collogues to smile to when you don’t feel like it.

Yes. I know. There might be some down points to it too …

But it is SO worth it for me, and I am having the best time, doing what I love!
